I have never been an amateur of lecturing others on how to live or behave. But I have a few things to say to all of those who are procrastinating about something they want to do, but who are still waiting for the right moment or the right conditions to do it. Sometimes we tend to think that we've had enough of everything. Same day is replaying every morning and it seems a little hard to break the wave of boredom that has taken over a while ago. And then one day you wake up to some horrible news: a young successful friend has passed away, your favourite writer or singer has left this world, or worse, you, yourself, are diagnosed with a serious illness. You have a terrible accident. It might be something that is eating you up slowly, or it might be something that will prevent you from moving easily or thinking properly. In that particular moment, wouldn't you appreciate all the ordinary and boring days you were living? You won't be able to reset things or pretend that every thing is in its right place. However, you would still have time. Enough time to think and create. Only then will your common sense receive a wake-up call and will push you to your limits. Reportedly Asimov said once "If my doctor told me I had only six minutes to live, I wouldn't brood. I'd type a little faster." Whether this is true or fake, I believe that these words are precious.
Having lived the experience myself, I now live by this motto: Type faster, Create more, Leave your trace in this world. Prove your existence. Prove you're alive. Time won't wait for you, people and opportunities won't wait for you.
